Pure Freedom….Coming Tomorrow!

WHAT?

Pure Freedom is a brand new event for moms and teen girls designed to get communication flowing.  It’s a three hour game-show-meets-talk-show mother/daughter event filled with vibrantworship, deep Bible teaching and a whole lot of insanity. Erin Davis*, host of LiesYoungWomenBelieve.com, will emcee the night with energy and audience participation events. She’ll also present Dannah’s famous “Truth or Bare” Fashion Show.

Stephanie Peters, national worship leader, will bring your heart to the throne of God so that His truth will penetrate. Dannah Gresh will teach brand new insights from her 2011 release, What Are You Waiting For?  The One Thing No ONe Ever Tells You About Sex.  And, it will all be wrapped in great mother/daughter moments that will never beforgotten.

WHY?  Roughly 50% of born again Christian women are fully sexually active before they leave high school.  Forty percent of them struggle with pornography at some level. Show us the teen girl who doesn’t struggle with body image and beauty lies.

The all-new Pure Freedom mother/daughter event is created to equip mom and daughter to live vibrant lives of purity, heal from moments of past impurity and to understand that they are a masterpiece created by God.

It’s not just about purity. It’s ABOUT BEAUTY.

Pure Freedom with Dannah Gresh &

ABC Baby Bottle Time…

Don’t forget to get your baby bottles before Mother’s Day, although if you are a little late, I suspect they will still oblige.  Between Mother’s Day and Father’s Day, you have an opportunity to collect your change or make a donation to support this crucial work of the Lord in this area.

PASTORS…On our Virtual Bulletin Board are Church Bulletins Inserts just for you to use in your church from ABC                                                         Pregnancy Center

Recently ABC was given an ultra-sound machine.  How’s that for the Lord’s provision?  They are now in the process of pursuing the requirements to become a Medical Clinic.  This is a big step for them and your prayers and financial support is needed.

Another need is for “Life Ambassadors.”  Do you have a heart for the Pro-life ministry?  Have you been wondering where your “niche” fits into God’s kingdom? A Life Ambassador simply is an ambassador for life to your church or group.  ABC will keep you informed of life events coming to our area (such as life affirming films, speakers and events coming up at ABC).  You will be kept informed via occasional meetings, email or phone calls.  You would also have access to important resources for your church regarding the pro-life movement.  Interested?  Call Robyn at 814- 432-2229 and make a difference for many families

Youth 4 Purity Event Coming Soon…

April 27-28 – Youth 4 Purity Event at Church of God of Prophecy, 113 Winwood Lane (Camp Coffman Rd), Fertigs, PA.  This event promotes the gospel message of Jesus Christ and His message of purity and abstinence until marriage.  It will include speakers and a presentation for “The Silver Ring Thing.”  Speaker. Rick Cartegena, former inner-city gang member from Philadelphia who has turned his life to Christ will share his testimony.  The “Youth 4 Purity”  event is designed for teens, but is relevant to college students and young adults.  SFT leadership recognizes that the practice of “safe-sex” will not ensure protection from the physical, emotional and spiritual problems resulting from sexual activity among teens.  The only way to reverse the moral decay of any youth culture is to inspire a change in the conduct and behavior from those within the culture.   Therefore, every program and activity at SFT has been designed to both inform, inspire, educate, and follow-up students and parents in this battle for purity within their families.  A parent session will be held in conjunction with this event to educate parents about the challenge of today’s youth culture.   Sponsoring community partners are needed to help with volunteering and finances.  For more information call Pastor Jeff Kelley at 814-354-2667.  Platinum sponsorship of $250 gets their name and/or logo on the main sign for the event, full page advertisement in the event program and a certificate of appreciation.  Gold Sponsors of $100 gets a half page advertisement in the event program and a certificate of appreciation.  Silver sponsor of $50 receives a certificate of appreciation.

Upcoming Opportunity to Participate in a Crosswalk or Good Friday Service in your area…

Fishermen’s Network Readers…we are coming into a Holy Week of the faith.  What better way to stop and take time to remember the events that we celebrate than to participate in a cross walk, Good Friday Service, or some quiet prayer time with our Lord.  Let us be challenged to actually participate in remembrance of such a solemn occasion and rejoice on Resurrection Day with our church family that we serve a risen King.  Our Lord and Savior is NOT DEAD…HE is ALIVE!

FRANKLIN – The annual Franklin Cross Walk is scheduled for 10:30 beginning at St. Patrick Church.  It will involve a 1.5 mile, 90 minute walk that will include twelve downtown churches.  Parking is available at the Shop-n-Save side lots.  Following the walk, there will be two Community Good Friday Services beginning at 12:30.  St. Patrick Church will lead us in “The Veneration of the Cross” and St. John’s Episcopal Church will host a “Service of Solemn Collect”.  Check out our calendar for Good Friday services in your neighborhood.
